This page provides important information about the tax-exempt status of Tu Lucha Rising, Inc. and about donations made in support of its charitable programs. The website at www.tulucha.org is operated by Tu Lucha LLC, and charitable programs described on the Site are carried out through Tu Lucha Rising, Inc.

1. Tax-Exempt Status

Tu Lucha Rising, Inc. is a Florida nonprofit corporation recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a tax-exempt public charity under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Its Employer Identification Number (EIN) is 39-5067974.

2. Tax-Deductibility of Contributions

Contributions to Tu Lucha Rising, Inc. are tax-deductible to the fullest extent permitted by law. No goods or services are provided in exchange for a contribution unless expressly stated at the time of the donation, in which case the deductible portion of the contribution is limited to the amount that exceeds the fair market value of any goods or services received.

Tu Lucha Rising, Inc. does not provide tax, legal, or accounting advice. Please retain your donation acknowledgment for your records and consult your own tax advisor regarding the deductibility of any contribution.

3. Donation Receipts

For each qualifying contribution, we will provide a written acknowledgment consistent with IRS requirements. If you do not receive an acknowledgment, or if you need a replacement for your records, please contact us using the information below.

4. Use of Contributions

Contributions support the charitable mission of Tu Lucha Rising, Inc., including building, funding, and sustaining community-based youth programs. We reserve the right, consistent with our charitable purposes and applicable law, to apply contributions where the need is greatest. Where a contribution is restricted to a specific program by the donor and accepted on that basis, it will be used for that purpose.

5. Florida Charitable Solicitation Disclosure

The following disclosure is required by the State of Florida:

REGISTRATION DOES NOT IMPLY ENDORSEMENT, APPROVAL, OR RECOMMENDATION BY THE STATE. FLORIDA REGISTRATION #[CH XXXXX].

Note: Insert your Florida charitable registration number in place of [CH XXXXX]. Tu Lucha Rising, Inc. is required to register with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services before soliciting contributions in Florida.

6. Solicitation in Other States

Many states require charitable organizations to register before soliciting contributions from their residents. Tu Lucha Rising, Inc. solicits contributions in accordance with applicable law. Residents of certain states may be entitled to specific disclosures; those states' required statements, and information about our registration status, are available on request.
