Board of Directors

Jin Bae

Co-Founder of Tu Lucha LLC; Executive Director of Tu Lucha Rising

Jin Bae is the Co-Founder of Tu Lucha and Tu Lucha Rising, organizations dedicated to creating opportunities for young people to build confidence, resilience, discipline, and purpose through boxing.

A former attorney and technology executive, Jin spent more than two decades helping innovative products and businesses grow through strategic partnerships and go-to-market leadership at world-class organizations including Google, Microsoft, Thomson Reuters, and Bloomberg. After a successful career, she chose to focus her experience and energy on a more personal mission: helping others discover what they are capable of becoming.

The daughter of Korean immigrants, Jin was raised with a deep appreciation for hard work, perseverance, gratitude, and the belief that excellence is earned. She believes that potential exists in every person, but opportunity does not always reach everyone equally.

Her life and career have been shaped by resilience, the belief that adversity can be a catalyst for growth and that setbacks are opportunities to become stronger, wiser, and more capable than before. Like boxing itself, she believes life will occasionally knock you down. What matters most is the courage to get back up, the discipline to keep showing up, and the perseverance to continue pursuing your potential.

Grateful for the opportunities that helped shape her own path, Jin co-founded Tu Lucha with her husband, Steven Nigro, to help others discover and develop their potential.

She believes that when opportunity meets potential, lives can change.
